We had a fantastic week in Florida!  We all spent the first few days at the “lodge” (middle of the woods near Ocala).  Josh and I hadn’t been there in many years, and it was fun to introduce the girls to it.  It was just really good to be back again.  We enjoyed four-wheel rides, meat grilled over a wood fire, s’mores, and lots of play time outside.  After we sent Josh back home, the three girls stayed with Papa and Emma in Clearwater for a few more days.  I think the sandbox provided by Papa was their favorite.  It was a great time to enjoy family, see some friends and just relax!

Happy New Year!  I’m pretty sure each year gets faster and faster.  Or maybe it just picks up speed with each kid.  So many great memories from last year, and looking forward to seeing what this year holds!  Here are some pics from our NC trip…

The three girls took a road trip to Georgia this week.  We stayed with Katie and Andy and met up with Mom, Meme, and Uncle Rick.  It was a lot of fun!  The girls did great in the car, and it was great fun to see family we don’t get to see very often.

We had a wonderful trip to Colorado - great time with family and great relaxation.  We got to go on a train ride, go hiking, have picnics, play in the stream, feed chipmunks, and play with cousins we don’t get to see often enough. Way fun!

We had a good trip to NC and fun time with family.  As you can see, one of the highlights was our day at Lake Norman with the Brammers.  Elise took to the pool like a fish (probably because it was warm!) and loved her first tubing experience.  The girls did well with all four of us sleeping in one room, though somehow no one ever slept very late.
