We made our way to Huber Farm again for the first weekend of strawberry pickin’! Apparently we got there too early…not quite enough ready to be picked yet. We’ll go back this weekend for more! On the way back, we stopped by the school to check out the 17 year cicadas. Wow! They were everywhere and together made the most strange noise. Trees were covered with them. They stay underground in their juvenile stage for 17 years and then come out to molt and fly to mate. Amazing.

Ed is over?! NO!!! How can they just end the show in the middle of the season? And to end it with an episode that just had too many conflicting emotions… It just didn’t have that Ed feel to it, it was too different. It did have some classic Ed parts, but overall, I was disappointed. I just can’t believe it’s over….

Okay, so this is a record. We’ve never gone this long without journaling. It’s been a mix of not much going on and being really busy. It was in the negative temperatures last night, even without wind chill. We went out to Bravo’s with some friends. It was really good. Mmm….fillet with gorgonzolla.
