The renovations to the guest bathroom are all done! Here are some shots of the work in progress as well as completed. I also have a video there since the bathroom is too small to really get a picture of. Thanks to Paul and Cathy for their labors and Dad and John for technical advice!

Well, my power supply crashed just after we got back from our Anaheim/CAPS trip. This has put me way behind on journaling, pictures, and the like. We’ve spent most of this week renovating our entertainment room and Court has just finished the last touches of paint on the trim. I’ll post before and after pictures soon.

We put the finishing touches on the front today with daylillies, annuals, and mulch. We used more annuals than we would in future years, but it fills in the space nicely til the shrubs grow. Or at least it will fill it in some day – right now it looks really weeny. Much more impressive in person… more pictures to follow when it looks more impressive! (Top view large and small)

Wow, we spent the morning and early afternoon working in the yard. Court planted 75 bulbs, moved about a ton of lava rocks, and carefully placed sod on bare spots. I created a natural area in the back yard (hence the sod), mowed, and planted 10 trees. One I ganked from the railroad tracks. It was just growing out of the rocks. Today was the first time I mowed the back yard…not as easy as the front, but man does it look better now.
