November brought lots of leaves and fun with family, two birthdays, lots of cake, a big new electric griddle that can quickly do pancakes for the whole family… good times. Charlotte started taking a few little steps after her birthday, but she hasn’t figured out yet that her knees bend.

October went by quickly, with the main event being Elise’s birthday. Charlotte can stand up by herself now and must have really strong legs with all the up and down she does. We had a good trip to Georgia this month, a last trip to the zoo for the season, a trip to the pumpkin patch/hayride with Daddy, and the pumpkin party at GBC.

The three girls took a road trip to Georgia this week. We stayed with Katie and Andy and met up with Mom, Meme, and Uncle Rick. It was a lot of fun! The girls did great in the car, and it was great fun to see family we don’t get to see very often.

Happy Birthday, Elise! Wow, 3 years old already! Where has the time gone? She’s the best 3-year-old mommy I know, a wonderful helper, the best teacher for all her babies, caring and compassionate, a wonderful big sister, and has the sweetest singing voice ever for “Praise to the Lord.” We had a fun strawberry birthday party with friends (cake made by Daddy!) to celebrate a special little girl.

Charlotte is 11 months old! She is pulling up on everything and loves the new things this gives her access to! Nothing is safe anymore… She likes to wave bye-bye, especially to Daddy when he leaves for work in the morning. And both girls get so excited when Daddy comes home! We enjoyed a visit from Papa and Emma at the beginning of the month and a short visit from Pappaw - always fun times! And we’re getting back into the Bible study/MOPS weekly routine. I can’t believe my first baby is almost 3…
