Elise’s newest tricks:  Crawling and Waving

Swinging:  Elise has found a new passion…and now we have to buy one for our house…

We have forward motion!  It’s still a little awkward, but Elise is on the move.  Watch out, dogs, here she comes!  In other news, she just learned how to wave bye-bye. It’s awfully cute! Here’s a random picture that was obviously an oops with the camera, but I love the way her blue eyes pop out.

Elise enjoyed her very first day of VBS!  They sent this “craft” home with her, and she thinks it’s the coolest thing ever. 

Elise is 8 months old and learning so much!  Have we mentioned how much fun she is? Her latest trick is getting to a sitting position all by herself.  She loves the new freedom!  She creeps backwards and in circles and can cover quite a lot of ground that way.  She is starting to push up on her hands and knees and get her belly off the ground.  In the culinary world, she has covered quite a few vegetables and is exploring fruits now. She likes to babble and loves her “jumpee”.
