My parents came for a visit.  It was a treat to have them up here again!  We may have worked ourselves a little too hard… we put up shelves in 4 closets, planted an herb garden and flowers, painted the front door, front lights, and mailbox, and spread mulch… lots and lots of mulch. And we have lots of mulch left over. 

These are a few of Elise’s early attempts at rice cereal. She learned pretty quickly to open her mouth and seems to think the stuff is pretty interesting.

Elise is 6 months old already! Oh how the time flies. She weighed in at 15 pounds at the doctor’s today and survived another round of shots. She is sitting up now and enjoys playing that way, she enjoys sucking on her toes, and she has started on rice cereal, the first of many dining adventures. Here’s what we’ve been up to lately…
