I turned in my dissertation to be bound yesterday morning! We moved to Germantown, TN yesterday afternoon! Our old house closed today! We found a place to temporarily live today! I start work tomorrow!

Elise had a good check-up today - she’s up to 8 lb 14 oz and over 20.5 inches. She is starting to interact more and is discovering her voice and her hands when they accidentally run into her mouth.

Elise is growing fast! She had her first official tub bath tonight. She’s also been watching some Enterprise with her daddy.

At 9 days old, Elise is doing great.  She eats like a champ and is up to 7 lb 11 oz already (11 oz in the week since we’ve been home).  She also sleeps great which means we do, too - yay!  Recovery for me has been better than I anticipated.  The three of us are enjoying this sweet time at home together.  Life is good!
