Court “kidnapped” me yesterday and took us off to Maysville, KY, a small town north of Lexington, just across the Ohio River from…Ohio (the drive was beautiful)! It was a really neat old town and had lots of “oldests” and “firsts” (oldest covered bridge in KY [pic], oldest bank in KY, the town just down the road, Washington, was the first town to be offially named Washington after George Washington and it was the first incorportated city west of the Alleghenies…). It was a very cute little town and we had a really neat time. Last night we went across the river to Ohio and had dinner at Moyer’s Winery and Restaurant. The area reminded us a lot of the Rhine Valley in Germany…except a lot smaller. We got a kick out of this on the drive back.
