Happy birthday to Paul!

We went to the Napa River Grill tonight to celebrate my b-day (again). Mmmmmm…..!!!! It was wonderful! We split an appetizer, salad and entre and had our own desserts, leaving us quite content (yet it was still quite expensive). Mmm…good coffee and great dessert!

Court has today off so I got my birthday breakfast! Grits and cheese casserole (with sour cream and jalapenos in it)…and sausage biscuits! Who knows, we may even get birthday dinner in the next couple days! I love this spreading of the birthday cheer out!

One of the great fringe benefits of being PhD student is you get to go to special meetings with the special people who come to speak at Southern. Today, I got to go to a luncheon with Bill Dembsky, an Intelligent Design philosopher. Good stuff.

Speaking of wonderful, Courtney brought us dinner to the Gheen’s center last night since I was at school nearly from 8am to 8pm.
